Was told I would be contacted after Les spoke with his manager. Was asked to supply pictures! Explained I had in email. I had to phone them and said I was none too pleased with their slow response. I emailed again and was asked to supply pictures which I did. I emailed Winfields and got the standard response of you will be contacted within 24 hours - sadly I was not. On return from holiday I toiled with contacting winfields because we loved the tent but in the back of my mind I thought 'we don't earn a lot of money and we paid for something that does not do what it says on the tin'. Throughout the holiday the tent performed well except for the sagging of the beams because we were unsure of how much air was in and did not want to over inflate. It teamed of rain the first night and no leaks. 1 hour later we got air in (not sure how much but the beams felt firm). Due to this it was extremely difficult to get the gauge on the pump to indicate how much air we were pumping into the beams. The pitching of this tent should only take about 15 mins but the pump does not match the valves on the beams - meaning we were unable to pump this tent up without there being 2 people - 1 to pump and the other to hold the hose in the valve in such a way that a rough seal was formed to get some air into the beams. This is a lesson learned and never to be repeated. Bought the tent in june but stupidly did not set it up until we went on holiday in August. One of the main reasons why I bought it was because you could only buy it at Winfields, it sounded amazing and thought that I would receive great customer service due to it being exclusive to them. This tent is exclusive to Winfields Outdoors. The tent weighs a lot as well about 37kg so not for the weaker members of societyĢ from 5 people found this review helpful, was it helpful to you?īy: Avril117 Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2017 Rating: So why not 10/10 and only 9, it’s no where near as easy to put away, you have to get all air out of beams which it does self release and pump will remove excess but then it’s a big tent to get rolled up and back in the bag. Inside good quality seams, dry and roomy, lots of door and set up options, pockets vents and windows. It goes up quickly for such a big tent, peg four edges and blow up in five mins approx, so if it’s raining you can be in quickly, obviously like any tent you have to finish pegging and putting guys out, but you can wait till the rain stops as the air beams make it structurally sound. The tent however is great, it’s massive, the air tent aspect moves away from problematic poles etc. Read the below review by Avril and think unfair as not a criticism of the tent or it’s quality but of winfields, which I must admit are pretty shocking for customer service.
